Where are you located?

Needle & Fire Workshop is located at 7009 La Jolla Dr., Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.

What are your shopping hours?

Our regular shopping hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.

We also offer extended shopping hours on the second Friday of each month.

Holiday hours, special events, and temporary closures may affect our schedule. Please check our Facebook page or Google Business Profile for the most current information.

Can I shop online?

Absolutely! You can browse and purchase fabrics, patterns, notions, kits, handmade goods, and other creative supplies through our website anytime.

Classes & Workshops

What do I need to bring to class?

For sewing, quilting, and embroidery classes, please bring your own machine, tools, notions, and materials as specified in the individual class description.

Some classes include supplies or offer optional kits for purchase. Each class listing will explain what's included.

Our classroom provides shared cutting and ironing stations.

Do you offer beginner-friendly classes?

Yes! We offer a variety of classes and workshops for different experience levels. Check each class description for skill requirements and supplies needed.

When are new classes announced?

We generally publish our class schedule one or two months in advance.

New classes are announced on our website, Facebook page, and through our email updates.

What if I need to cancel a class?

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class start time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start time will receive credit toward another class.

Do you offer private classes?

Yes! We offer private classes and group workshops by arrangement. Availability and pricing depend on the project, group size, and individual requirements.

Do private classes require advance payment?

Yes. Private classes and group workshops must be paid in full before the scheduled class date. Payment arrangements will be provided when scheduling your class.

Sewing, Quilting & Creative Retreats

Do you offer creative retreats?

Yes! Road's End Hideaway, our private rural retreat house in Pine Bluff, accommodates small groups interested in sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, embroidery, and other creative activities.

We welcome private groups planning their own getaways and may also offer select hosted retreats with organized activities or projects.

How many people can stay at Road's End Hideaway?

The house accommodates up to six overnight guests, with two queen beds and one queen sleeper sofa.

Can we sew at the retreat house?

Yes! The house provides shared creative workspace, task lighting, a cutting table, and an ironing station.

Guests can bring their own machines, supplies, and projects for a relaxed, self-directed creative getaway.

Can we use the Needle & Fire Workshop classroom?

Yes. Retreat guests may reserve our dedicated workshop classroom for an additional $10 per person, per day.

Classroom use must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.

How much does a creative retreat cost?

Creative retreat lodging is $60 per person, per night, with a three-night minimum stay and a two-person minimum booking.

The house accommodates a maximum of six overnight guests.

Optional classroom rental, classes, project kits, and catered meals may involve additional charges.

How do we book a retreat?

Creative retreats must be booked directly through Needle & Fire Workshop, not through Airbnb or VRBO.

Contact us with your preferred dates, number of guests, and whether you'd like to reserve classroom space.

We'll confirm availability, discuss your group's arrangements, and provide information about deposits and payments.

Reservations are confirmed once the required payment arrangements are completed.

Orders & Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most in-stock orders ship within 48 hours.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time. We currently ship within the United States.

Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes! Select Local Pickup at checkout. We'll let you know when your order is ready.

How is fabric sold online?

Our quilting fabric yardage is generally sold in half-yard increments.

Quantity 1 = ½ yard

Quantity 2 = 1 yard

Quantity 3 = 1½ yards

Quantity 4 = 2 yards

Multiple quantities of the same fabric are cut continuously whenever possible.

Please check individual product descriptions for any exceptions.

Gift Cards

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Needle & Fire Workshop offers gift cards in several denominations.

Gift cards can be purchased online and redeemed toward eligible products and services at Needle & Fire Workshop.

They make great gifts for quilters, sewists, crafters, and anyone who enjoys creating something special.

Custom Orders & Services

Do you accept custom work?

Yes! Needle & Fire Workshop offers a variety of custom services, including:

How long will my custom order take?

Turnaround time varies depending on the project, materials, complexity, and our current workload.

We'll provide an estimated completion date after reviewing your request.

Do custom orders require a deposit?

Yes. Custom orders require a deposit before work begins.

The deposit amount and payment arrangements will be provided with your quote.

Products & Materials

Are all your products handmade?

No. Needle & Fire Workshop offers quilting fabrics, sewing supplies, patterns, kits, handmade goods, and products from other makers and manufacturers.

Many of our handmade items are created in our Arkansas workshop, while others are sourced from independent artisans.

How should I care for handmade items?

Care instructions depend on the materials and construction of each item.

Some general recommendations include:

• Earrings: Keep dry and store carefully to protect delicate components.

• Embroidered tea towels: Follow the care instructions provided with the product.

• Laser-cut ornaments: Spot-clean gently and store in a dry place.
