Classes & Workshops

At Needle & Fire Designs, our classes are hands-on, small-group sessions focused on building real skills in a working studio environment. Whether you’re learning something new or refining your technique, the goal is practical instruction you can apply immediately.

We offer a rotating schedule of:

Wreath-Making Classes – Seasonal, kit-based classes where you’ll build a finished wreath to take home.

Quilting & Sewing Classes – From foundational skills to project-based classes focused on cutting, piecing, and construction.

Embroidery Classes – Machine embroidery, appliqué, and project-based work using your own equipment.

Guest Instructor Workshops – Select classes are taught by guest instructors who bring specialized techniques, styles, and projects into the studio.

What to Expect

Small class sizes for direct instruction and troubleshooting

Step-by-step guidance with time to work at your own pace

A dedicated workspace with a cutting table and an ironing station

Students bring their own sewing or embroidery machine, tools, and materials unless otherwise noted

Kits may be required or available for purchase, depending on the class

Studio & Location

Classes are held at our working studio in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This is a home-based shop, and you’ll be learning in the same space where our products are made.

The studio will be open before and after class, and you’re welcome to browse available fabrics, kits, and finished items during your visit.
