12 Days of Christmas Embroidery Sew-Along

Description

Join us as we work through the Twelve Days of Christmas Woodlands embroidery quilt together.

Our first meeting will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. We will complete the first two embroidered appliqué blocks during that meeting, then continue meeting once a month through November.

To keep the project on schedule, participants must complete two blocks at home between each monthly meeting. By November, all twelve blocks should be finished and ready for quilt-top assembly.

The $75 registration fee includes:

• One individual Twelve Days of Christmas Woodlands pattern: $50 value
• Four-month sew-along participation fee: $25

Participants must provide:

• Embroidery machine
• Appropriate embroidery hoops
• Fabric
• Embroidery thread
• Stabilizer
• Appliqué scissors
• Basic embroidery and sewing supplies
• Fabric, batting, backing, sashing, borders, and binding needed to finish the quilt

This is an independent embroidery sew-along, not a beginner embroidery class. Participants must be comfortable operating their embroidery machine, loading embroidery files, hooping and stabilizing fabric, changing thread, and following a machine-appliqué sequence.

Planned schedule

• August: Complete blocks 1 and 2 together
• At home: Complete blocks 3 and 4
• September: Complete blocks 5 and 6 together
• At home: Complete blocks 7 and 8
• October: Complete blocks 9 and 10 together
• At home: Complete blocks 11 and 12
• November: Begin assembling the quilt top

Additional meeting dates will be coordinated with the group.
