Quilt Workshop: Make a Quilt Top

Quilt Lab is a guided, hands-on workshop focused on building the skills needed to successfully create a quilt top. In this class, students will work step-by-step through the full quilt top construction process, cutting, piecing, and assembling a quilt top using a simple, skill-focused pattern.

This class is designed for sewists who want to strengthen their quilting fundamentals, gain confidence reading patterns, and put their cutting and piecing skills to work in a supportive, small-group setting.

All students will work from the same pattern and coordinated fabric kit, so the class can move through each step, focusing on accuracy, technique, and understanding of the process.

Price: $185 per person (all materials provided)
Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. We will take a break during class.

Optional Prep

• Fabric kits may be picked up in advance for those who would like to pre-cut their pieces prior to class
• Cutting instructions will be provided with your kit

What to Bring

• Sewing machine (or use one of ours)
• Basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, seam ripper)
• Ruler and rotary cutter (recommended if you have them)
• Neutral-colored thread
• ¼" foot (optional)

Important Notes

• Class size is limited to ensure individual instruction
• This workshop focuses on quilt top construction. Finishing techniques such as backing, quilting, and binding are not included
