We are excited to now carry Ten Sisters Easy Piecing Grid at Needle & Fire Workshop, and this class is a great way to see the system in action.
The Cracker Jack Quilt is a beginner-friendly quilt project that uses the Ten Sisters grid system to organize and piece a quilt made from small squares. Place fabric squares on a printed fusible grid, press them into place, then fold and sew. The process is straightforward, accurate, and much easier to manage than the finished quilt might suggest.
This quilt finishes at approximately 68" x 68" and uses 784 squares and 7 Ten Sisters grid panels.
This class is a good fit for:
- newer sewists who are comfortable using their sewing machine
- quilters who want to try the Ten Sisters system
- anyone who wants a structured, approachable way to tackle a quilt with lots of small pieces
